about us

.LAWLESS. is a Yakuza themed criminal bar and fighting arena. The venue is owned and ran by the Ichikawa Yakuza family of Kugane, purchased from the previous Oronir family owners of Limsa and relocated to Shirogane. The venue is an all-you-need space for criminal activity with characters and deals of all kind..NOT A FC. We are not a Free Company. So you do not need to be on Brynhildr or in the [LL-RP] FC in order to come by Lawless and participate in our roleplay or to even join the gang. Lawless is meant to be a more open community for anyone and everyone interested in the underground and yakuza criminal scenes to enjoy themselves. There are opportunities to become a part of the group itself and our ever-expanding RP world and active event community, however being in the Lawless free company is not required!

.NO GIL NEEDED. All bar and drug transactions are RP only and cost nothing OOC. So there is no pressure to spend gil during an evening of just roleplay. However tipping the bartenders, healers, and hosts is greatly encouraged, otherwise they might just end up picking your pockets. We do offer some gambling/betting services for the fight arena where the customer may choose to gamble with real gil or just roleplay gil!.OPEN VENUE 24/7. The venue is left unlocked 24/7 for your use outside of our regular hours. You are welcome to come any time to the mansion to roleplay with others in Lawless's setting, even use the arena if you have a brawl going on. It is all free of charge. So come by and enjoy some less-than-legal dealings. Just be careful who you talk to, you never which one will end up sticking a knife in your back.

about

At Lawless one of our attractions is the arena. Our arena is an open arena where patrons and staff alike can let loose all of their rage and hope to end up the one walking out of there victorious. Fists, weapons, and magic are all allowed. For those who end up worse for wear we have a medical bay arena-side with healers at the ready to tend to your wounds..ARENA SIGN-UPS ARE BY DISCORD ONLY.Arena Sign Ups for Sundays begin every Saturday on our Discord via a form. Sign-ups for the arena are free and open to anyone. You can choose to fight a friend, fight a specific Lawless fighter, or leave it up to our arena masters to set you up with an opponent. We do NOT allow sign-ups at the venue the night of. All sign-ups are by our discord sheet only.Lawless uses the grindstone combat rules. This means opposing /random rolls for attack/defense. Three successful hits results in an automatic win. If the match timer (20 minutes) runs out, most hits in the match is the winner.

make gil

Wanna make some gil? Then good news! At the Lawless arena we pay you to fight, whether you win or not. We believe in rewarding the brave for daring to step into our fighting ring and duke it out for the entertainment of others. So whether you win or you lose, you'll be able to walk away with a bit of extra gil in your pocket..WIN A MATCH. 50,000 gil --------- .LOSE A MATCH. 25,000 gil

the rules

We don't have many rules for our arena, trying to keep the 'lawless' part of our name true. But we do ask that you do not do these sorts of attacks in our arena due to them simply not being fun for your opponent or ruining the atmosphere of the venue. If any of the attacks below are used we will ask you to rewrite your post using a different attack or will automatically allow your opponent a dodge no matter the roles. Repeat offenders will not be allowed to sign-up for our fights in the future..Crotch Shot. You can fight dirty plenty of ways without having to resort to the family jewels. So keep away from this low-brow attack okay? It's just a cheap way to hurt your opponent and is not fun for the other fighter if it actually hits..Silly Attacks. Unless we have specifically announced that it is a comedic fight, keep your attacks at least somewhat serious in the arena. No ridiculous silly off the wall attacks that ruin the mood or ridicule your opponent. This includes Jojo attacks...Remember that arena fighting is meant to be fun for BOTH fighters in the arena, a give and attack. It isn't about you showing off or making a mockery of the other person. As it isn't about them doing that either to you. It is a collaboration meant for enjoyment on both sides of the ring as well as for the audience spectating.

Risk Level

The unique thing at Lawless' arena is that we have come up with and implemented a 'risk level system' for our matches. What this means is that contenders who sign up to fight in the arena will have to agree with their opponent on a 'risk level' ranging from low, medium, and high to determine the extent of violence and injuries that are allowed in the match itself..LOW RISK LEVEL.
Low-level violence that results more in bumps, bruises, and scrapes than anything else. You'll not really be hurt, just sore.
.MEDIUM RISK LEVEL.
Injuries are more sustained and persistent. Cuts, wounds, broken arm. But nothing that is serious or life-threatening.
.HIGH RISK LEVEL.
Super dangerous, super risky. At this level you could suffer missing limbs, broken horns, deep wounds, etc. No death.
